Product description

Prunes are a traditional fruit that is popular around the world. Not surprisingly, besides having an excellent taste, they also contain many health benefits and fiber. Fiber in prunes helps to lower blood cholesterol levels and their regular consumption is an effective prevention of colon cancer. Plums purify and have highly detoxifying effects. Thanks to their low protein, fat and sodium content, they are suitable for arteriosclerosis, high levels of uric acid, gout, degenerative joint diseases and liver disease. Prunes have a slightly laxative effect due to pectin and a substance that accelerates bowel movements. However, unlike the insoluble fiber in bran, the soluble plum fiber soothes and protects the intestinal walls. Dried plums are also a good source of potassium, which is essential to maintain normal blood pressure and heart function.
